Assistive Technology Workshop

Jewish Family & Children’s Service is proud to sponsor a free
workshop aimed at parents, teachers, learning specialists, and
professionals, from Advancing Opportunities. This workshop will focus on
assistive technology that will support students in their home
environments. Additionally, inexpensive software will be demonstrated to
support school-age through adult learners in the area of reading and
writing to foster independence.

Advancing Opportunities is a non-profit organization that serves

individuals of all ages and disabilities throughout the state of NJ.

Some of their departments include Family Support Services, Advocacy, and

Assistive Technology. For 62 years, Advancing Opportunities has striven

to enhance the lives of people with all disabilities and enable full

participation in society through direct services and education.

Refreshments will be served.
