ATTENTION AREA K-12 TEACHERS: SAVE THE DATE!

The National Writing Project at Rider University is pleased to invite you to join us on campus for our Fall Conference:  "Launching into Literacy: Supporting Educators in a Time of Change."  Highlighted by keynote speaker, Lisa Funeri Willever, author of the Nicky Fifth series, you will have the opportunity to participate in a morning of inspiration, collegiality, and classroom-ready strategies while earning three professional development hours.  In addition to the keynote address, a choice of two breakout sessions, presented by NWP-trained Teacher Consultants, will be offered. Choose from:  Text Complexity, Techno-poetry, Using Google Earth, Conferencing in the Reading & Writing Workshop, Creative Ways to Write Nonfiction, and Close Writing.
