Bomb Threat At Pharmacy In Princeton

Princeton Police investigated a reported bomb threat at CVS Pharmacy, 172 Nassau St. on Friday.

Princeton Police investigated a reported bomb threat at CVS Pharmacy, 172 Nassau St. on Friday.

At 7:55 p.m., a store employee allegedly received a phone call from unknown male caller stating that a package containing explosives was inside the store. The building was subsequently evacuated including the store and above-store apartment units. The surrounding area was closed to pedestrian travel.

Police patrols with the aid of the Mercer County Sheriff Department Bomb Unit searched the store and apartment units. No suspicious package(s) were found.

There were no reported injuries. Vehicular traffic was uninterrupted.

The Princeton Fire Department and Princeton First Aid Squad also responded to the scene.
