Breeze Airways Launches Nonstop Flights From Trenton-Mercer Airport

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Breeze Airways began service at Trenton-Mercer Airport on Sunday, with nonstop flights to Charleston, South Carolina, the airline said.

The Charleston route operates Thursdays and Sundays, with fares starting at $89 one way, according to the airline.

Breeze will add nonstop service to Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Those flights will operate Wednesdays and Saturdays.

"I'm excited to welcome travelers to and from Charleston on Breeze Airways' first flights out of Trenton Mercer Airport (TTN)," Mercer County Executive Dan Benson said. "With nonstop flights to three destinations, our partnership with Breeze helps us continue to bring affordable travel options that will further solidify Mercer County as an economic hub and tourist destination."

Breeze founder and CEO David Neeleman said the airline aims to connect more travelers in the region with Charleston.

"With Breeze, our Guests get a high-value, low-cost product with a convenient nonstop route from their own backyard straight to some amazing destinations, including Vero Beach launching soon."

Breeze operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 91 cities in the United States, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, the airline said. It flies Airbus A220-300 aircraft and offers free family seating, onboard WiFi, preferred seat options and no change or cancellation fees.

The airline was named to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies list and Forbes' list of America's Best Brands for Value for 2026, according to the release. Breeze began flying in May 2021.
