Community Corner

"Community Gardens" presented by Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County

LAWRENCE, N.J. — The Rutgers Master Gardeners of Mercer County will
host a program on Community Gardens Thursday, January 30, from 7:00 to 8:30
p.m.  The program will be held at Rutgers
Cooperative Extension, 930 Spruce Street, Lawrence, adjacent to the Trenton
Farmers Market.

What is a community garden?
Who can join a community garden?
Why would you do so?  How and
where do you sign up?  What plants do
best in a community garden setting?
Master Gardeners with experience in community gardening answer these
questions and provide an overview of community gardening and discuss those
available in Trenton and other locations in Mercer County.  To pre-register for this program, call (609)
989-6830.
