Cops: Man Shot to Death in Mercer County Tuesday Night
Police are investigating the shooting death of 43-year-old Anthony Jones
A 43-year-old Trenton man was shot and killed in the City Tuesday night, Mercer County Prosecutor Joseph L. Bocchini Jr. and Trenton Police Director Ernest Parrey Jr. announced Wednesday morning.
Trenton Police found Anthony Jones in the middle of Pearl Street after he was apparently shot multiple times. They were responding to reports of a shooting in progress in the area of Pearl and Benton streets around 6:40 p.m.
Jones was transported to Saint Francis Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
