Deadline To Register To Vote In Primary Elections Is Next Week
Primary Day is June 6.

With the governor's seat up and all seats in the state senate and assembly up for grabs, Election Day will be a critical day in New Jersey. Before the general elections come the primary elections, and the deadline to vote in this year's Democratic and Republican primaries is on the horizon. The deadline to register for this year's primaries is Tuesday, May 16.
For individuals who wish to Vote by Mail, the deadline to apply is Friday, May 26 by mail and Monday, June 5 by 3 pm in person. Mail-in ballots must be received by Election Day.
Registration forms and vote by mail application forms can be obtained at your local municipal building or online at www.njelections.org.

The primary elections take place on June 6. It is also the deadline for independent candidates who wish to run in the general elections. The general elections take place on Nov. 7.
