Debit Card Information May Have Been Stolen at Michaels
PIN pads at stores were tampered with, store officials said.

Michaels craft stores released a statement Thursday that PIN pads at 90 of its stores, including the one off Nassau Park Boulevard in West Windsor, might have been tampered with, possible exposing customer information between Feb. 8 and May 6.
The store is replacing 7,200 of its PIN pads nationwide over the next two weeks.
Fewer than 100 customers across the country have reported that their debit cards have been used in fraudulent transactions, but there have been no reports of credit card fraud. In the statement, the store urged customers to check their accounts for unauthorized transactions, and to contact their card issuers about any discrepancies.
