The store recently conducted a survey among customers to better understand their closet organizing behavior. According to the survey, nearly 70 percent people said they have coats in their closet they do not wear. These findings provided the store with the impetus to organize the coat drive to help communities.
“Especially with this year’s many obstacles, donating a coat is more important than ever. Thanks to our partnership with Burlington Stores, we are able to help to distribute thousands of coats to people who need them most,” said Lisa Gurwitch, President and CEO of Delivering Good.
The store said Delivering Goods will ensure the coats are distributed to those living within the communities.
