Driver Killed In Tractor-Trailer Crash In Mercer County
Wilbert Normand of Delaware was killed after his tractor struck the back of another tractor-trailer.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ - A man from Delaware was killed when a flatbed tractor crashed into a Kenworth tractor at the turnpike in Robbinsville, Tuesday. The crash took place near milepost 59.9 in Robbinsville, state police said
Wilbert Normand, 50 of Wilmington, Delaware was killed after he hit the back of a tractor-trailer, struck the traffic barrier, and left guardrail.
According to the initial investigation, a Kenworth tractor was pulling an enclosed trailer on the Turnpike, and a Western Star tractor, driven by Normand, was pulling a flatbed trailer directly behind the Kenworth tractor. Normand tractor then struck the trailer being pulled by the Kenworth tractor, police said.

During the crash, sheetrock spilled onto the right lane and right shoulder. The two left lanes were closed for several hours Tuesday afternoon, as police investigated.
