EASEL Animal Rescue Named Official Partner

Joins forces with veteran organization to end animal homelessness.

PETS FOR PATRIOTS and EASEL ANIMAL RESCUE in Ewing are officially partnering to end animal homelessness in the U.S. while giving our military veterans and their families the greatest “thank you” of all: the extraordinary love of a companion pet.

The real gift is the gift of companionship. Through the partnership, both organizations seek to reduce the overall costs of pet parenthood in order to prevent veterans from returning their new best friends to the shelter due to short-term financial hardship. In 2015, EASEL Animal Rescue placed over 500 animals in new homes. Despite such impressive numbers, the shelter is always filled to capacity with other animals seeking a loving family and home.

Working together, both non-profits are making that happen in a way that values the lives of both the most vulnerable and heroic among us. EASEL recognizes the bond and benefits of responsible pet ownership. All of its animals are spayed/neutered and checked out by a veterinarian. EASEL is proud to be able to help veterans who gave so much to for this country.
