U.S. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman won another four years in Congress Tuesday night.
Watson Coleman, a Democrat, defeated Republican challenger Steven Uccio, according to unofficial results posted on nj.com. Watson Coleman won with 139,145 votes compared to Uccio’s 72,817.
Andrew Koontz will return to the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders and he’s bringing another Democrat with him.

Koontz was the leading vote-getter in the four-person race for the two open seats with 81,591 votes. Democratic candidate Anthony Verrelli collected 80,563 votes, according to unofficial results posted by Mercer County officials.
They defeated Republicans Andrew Curcio and Jason DeFrancesco. Curcio earned 43,426 and DeFrancesco collected 42,066 votes.

Surrogate Diane Gerofsky, also a Democrat, won another five-year term by defeating Republican challenger David Boyne. Gerofsky earned 84,579 votes to Boyne’s 41,037 votes.
All results are unofficial until they are certified by the county clerk.
