Do you want to get your feet wet prior to going camping? Do you want to learn from other experienced campers? Then this is the event for you. Follow a scavenger hunt while visiting troops sharing camping experiences. Learn about cooking at camp. Learn to set up a tent and campsite. Find out how to make ice cream in the outdoors. Pet some ponies. All of this fun and much more is housed at a real organic farm in Gwinnett County. Girl Scouts are hosting booths where children can try everything from rolling up a sleeping bag to making a s'more. Fee is $5 for children 3 years and up. Adults are free if accompanied by a child.
