The event will feature model kits, painted statues, art, model building supplies, and collectibles for display and sale that celebrate movies, TV, and comic books with the focus on monsters, science fiction, and fantasy. The show will have 10,000 square feet of professional, air conditioned space that will boast more than 80 vendor tables full of producers and artists who are either selling models, statues, art, or exhibiting their pieces.
The products include resin and plastic model kits of figures and sci-fi vehicles, and even numerous life-sized monster busts. Also for sale, will be many painted collectible statues from major companies like Sideshow Collectibles, Bowen Designs, and Hot Toys, some of which are quite rare.
The show also includes vendors with original paintings on
canvas, art prints, movie posters, DVD’s, magazines and other collectibles.
Another aspect of the show is the numerous
painting/sculpting demos and slideshows that are scheduled throughout the day, which are included with the price of admission. In a separate classroom, professional artists and hobby magazine writers will show
you how to paint a model or even sculpt one.
There will also be an exhibit and model & art contest that will display over 200 painted model kits where contestants will compete for great prizes and trophies.
