Another series of People and Stories/ Gente Y Cuentos - short story reading and discussion group begins Monday March 19, through, May 7,2012 at 1:30 pm at the Senior Center.
Jo Smidt, Coordinator of People and Stories will lead the group. As a trained facilitator for the program, Jo Smidt reads the story to the group while the seniors follow alone with their own copies. The discussion takes a life of its own as the seniors respond to Jo's questions and the group shares their reaction to the stories and often include their own experiences in the discussion. The “Senior” Series of “People and Stories” is sponsored by The Lawrence Township Community Foundation and is open to Lawrence Township Older Adults 60 years of age and older. New participants are welcomed to join in.
