On display throughout the library this month will be entries submitted by local artists in the Trashed Art contest. The contest, sponsored by the Lawrence Headquarters Branch Library and the Friends of the Lawrence Library, requires artists to use at least 75 percent recycled materials in their work. The contest will be judged by a select panel of community members and prizes will be awarded at the reception.
