Fantasy Bird Sculptures Subject Of Workshop In Mercer County
The "Birds In Art" workshop is set for Saturday, July 15.

Artist Susan Hoenig will guide parents and children in the use of paints, oil pastels and collage materials as they create their own fantasy bird sculptures during a “Birds in Art” family workshop next weekend. The workshop is scheduled for Saturday, July 15, 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at the Tulpehaking Nature Center.
Attendees are invited to give flight to their imagination and learn about the different resident and migratory birds of New Jersey. The sky is the limit in this fun family-oriented program.
This workshop is $5 per person or $20 per family, and is appropriate for ages 6 and up. Pre-registration is required. To register, call 609-888-3218 or email natureprograms@mercercounty.org.

The Tulpehaking Nature Center is located at 157 Westcott Avenue in Hamilton. It is open Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
The nature center provides programs and exhibits that encourage visitors to explore and discover the many cultural, historic and natural resources of the Abbott Marshlands.
