Farewell Gathering For Lawrence Schools Superintendent On Wednesday

Ross Kasun's retirement will be effective Sept. 1. He served as superintendent since 2018.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Lawrence Township Public Schools will be hosting an open house to celebrate the retirement of outgoing Superintendent Ross Kasun.

The gathering will take place Wednesday at between 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the High School Commons.

Kasun’s retirement will be effective Sept. 1. He served as superintendent since 2018.

After leaving the school district, Kasun will be taking up a new role as product development specialist for an educational technology firm. In his new role, Kasun will be working with a team to create learning opportunities for students using virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence.

In June, the district selected Robyn Klim to replace Kasun. Klim worked as Assistant Superintendent and will begin in her new position on Sept. 2.

Klim has over a decade of central office-level experience and will be starting her 12th year as a school administrator.

She graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelors in Social Work and holds a Master's degree from Fordham University. She began working in mental health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Before transitioning to LTPS as the Assistant Superintendent, Klim served the Freehold Township School District as the Director of Educational Services.
