Flying Fish, Local Foodie Added To Lawrenceville's 'A Night In The Village'

The village rolls out the red carpet for a limited group of guests to sample Lawrenceville's delicacies and hospitality Oct. 1.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Lawrenceville’s local eateries will be on display, and the village will make two new additions to its menu at “A Night In The Village” on Sunday, Oct. 1. The village rolls out the red carpet for a limited group of guests to sample Lawrenceville’s delicacies and hospitality, and to enjoy a night of food from 11 restaurants, drink, music, and dancing.

This year, ticket holders can enjoy craft beer by Flying Fish Brewing Company, which was founded in 1995 and is now the largest of 70+ craft breweries in the state.

Lawrenceville’s resident foodie Pat Tanner will also be on hand. Tanner writes the food blog Dine With Pat, is the consulting editor for the Zagat New Jersey restaurant guide, and contributes restaurant reviews and features to New Jersey Monthly magazine. Her byline has appeared in the New York Times, Food Network, and South Jersey Magazine.

To top it off, Castle Lane will perform funk, rock, blues, and soul sounds. Ticket holders will also receive a goodie bag. Tickets are now on sale at www.lawrencevillemainstreet.com.

The event is put together by Lawrenceville Main Street, a volunteer-led organization dedicated to fostering a sense of community and continuing the revitalization of the historic downtown area by organizing events, building partnerships, cultivating the business environment, and enhancing the physical setting of Lawrenceville.
