FREE Girls Lacrosse Clinic on February 8th

The Lawrence Lacrosse Club will be hosting a girl’s lacrosse clinic on Saturday, February 8th from 1:30pm – 3:00pm in the Lawrence Intermediate School (LIS) gymnasium (66 Eggerts Crossing Road). This event is free of charge and the club will provide all necessary equipment. The clinic will introduce girls in 1st through 4th grade to the game of lacrosse; girls in 5th through 8th grade are also welcome to attend. Coaches, Jill Foret and Caitlin Bigelow, will be leading the session.

Lacrosse is a dynamic, high scoring sport, which is currently the fastest growing sport in North America. Women’s lacrosse is a non-contact sport that heavily depends on teamwork. The Lawrence Lacrosse Club is hoping to promote girl’s youth lacrosse in an environment that emphasizes fun, while developing skills, teamwork, and good sportsmanship through the clinic and a new spring girl’s program.
