Hand-Carved Sandwich, Smash Burger Spot Coming To Lawrence

The new Lawrenceville restaurant opens its doors Aug. 13.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The Belt, a new sandwich and smash burger restaurant, will open at Quaker Bridge Mall in Lawrenceville on Thursday. 13.

The restaurant features a focused menu built around hand-carved sandwiches and Angus smash burgers, according to The Belt. The hand-carved lineup includes pastrami, corned beef, brisket and turkey, served on fresh rye, seeded Italian or soft potato rolls.

The smash burger menu includes single, double, "Fire Smash" and vegan options, made with fresh Angus beef, melted American cheese, grilled onions and the restaurant's signature Belt Sauce.

The Belt is located at Quaker Bridge Mall's dining pavilion in Lawrenceville. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A ribbon cutting with the Mayor Christopher Bobbit is scheduled on Friday, Aug. 14.
