Incumbents Retain Seats On Lawrence Township Board Of Education
Three incumbents retained their full-term seats, while another won a special election.

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Four incumbents were successful in their bids to retain their seats on the Board of Education Tuesday night, according to unofficial results provided by the Mercer County Clerk's Office.
Lawrence Township Board of Education President Kevin Van Hise and Board Members Joyce Scott and JoAnn L. Groeger were all re-elected to their full-term seats, while Dana Drake won a special election for a seat she was appointed to earlier this year.
Groeger was the top vote-getter with 5,080 votes, followed by VanHise with 4,432 votes. Scott was third with 2,844 votes. Jennifer Perry earned 2,386 votes, followed by Tam Ngo with 2,367 votes. Keva Stewart had 1,985 votes.

Drake defeated Becky Jo DiPierro, 4,583 votes to 2,227 votes in the special election to fill the remainder of the term of Max Ramos, who resigned earlier this year. Drake was appointed to the seat in February.
