Artist James Townsend from the GEPNA neighborhood in Lawrence Township will be exhibiting "Landscapes in Light" at Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Road, Princeton, NJ 08540 from December 1st - January 31st, 2014.
A dozen or more landscape paintings, emphasizing the inspiration of luminosity, will be on display. Fine delicate strokes accent the brilliant glow of these representational paintings.
Jim Townsend, known for his romantic expressions of Montana, studies oil painting and design in college but is mostly self-taught. He has been an associate member of Oil Painters of America since 2011 and has sold his works at several regionals art exhibitions. His works are in collections across the country including many commissions.
The opening reception will be Saturday, December 7th from 1 - 4:00 pm. The artist will be present to discuss his techniques. The event is free to all. RSVP for the art reception send a message to jim@townsendfineart.com.
