Although northbound lanes of the Pulaski Bridge have officially shut down for its two-year repair project, the eastern end of Union County saw little impact on Monday’s commuter traffic around Routes 1 & 9, according to nj.com.
It was anticipated that the $1 billion dollar project would cause additional traffic congestion in areas around the bridge, but so far police have reported “normal gridlock” and traffic conditions, according to nj.com.
