Founded in 2018, the Rustin Center is an educational enclave and safe space for LGBTQIA youths, intersectional families, and marginalized people in the Princeton area. They offer free in-house therapy/counseling for LGBTQIA young people and programming and events that support political, environmental, gender, and identity issues with a focus on civics, community activism, and cultural enlightenment.
Rustin Center’s Chief Activist Robt Seda-Schreiber said the School of Rock Princeton has built an affirming space. “We were equally honored to share their grand opening with them. The school’s donation will help us on our quixotic quest to find a new HQ since we lost our dedicated safe-space due to the pandemic.”
