Captain Paul's Serves Boomerang Another Loss
It was another chilly night, but after six innings, Captain Paul's dished up a 12-1 loss to Boomerangs last night, April 24th., at Hughes field on Eggerts Crossing Road.
Boomerang's only run came early in the first inning after Chris Nevius plated Shea McQuire on an RBI single to right field. Shea McQuire reached second on a double to left center field and then reached third on a stolen base putting him in scoring position.

Captain Paul's Max Crouthamel starting pitcher came out strong striking out two and only allowed six hits. Sean Hoffman took over for Max and struck out six and walked four. Closer Ameer Hasan struck out three and held off Boomerangs' batters from reaching base.
Boomerangs' Aces, Garrett Maloney, Chapman Turner and Shea McQuire all pitched well but gave up several walks loading the bases on multiple occasions giving Captain Paul's ample scoring opportunities. It was Boomerang's John Calcavale who really impressed the few diehard fans that hung around until the end. Once he found the zone he was hard to beat. Nice job John !!
