Here's a roundup of recent games in the various divisions of Lawrence Township Little League.

Saturday, May 14 – Bossio’s Deli vs. Heavenly Ham

Matt Carson led Bossio's Deli to an 11-2 victory over Heavenly Ham with three hits and three runs scored. Adam Levinsky, Matt Stout and Jake Bennett had two hits each for Bossio's. Jacob Abrams and David Ferdetta each singled and scored one run for Heavenly Ham.

Thursday, May 12 – Lawrence FOP vs. Bossio’s Deli

Robert Bridges and Ryan Springsteen led the way with two hits and a run scored each for Lawrence FOP in a 5-3 victory over Bossio's Deli. Joseph Laitusis, Zaki Hindash and Max Crouthamel also singled and scored for Lawrence FOP. For Bossio's, Adam Levinsky singled and scored twice and Matt Kildea had three hits.

Tuesday, May 10 – Bossio’s Deli vs. Rider TKE

Matt Joseph, Jake Bennett and Colby Davis all singled for Bossio’s Deli in an 11-2 loss to Rider TKE. Joseph also assisted in a right-field-to-first-base double-play. Ameer Hason, Will Kocsis and Matt Laws contributed two hits each for Rider TKE.

Saturday, May 7 – JCDA Consulting vs. Captain Paul’s

Michael Franc, Giovani Leonardo, Reece Schenck and Jake Delardo pitched well for Captain Paul’s and Jared Vinch got the game tying RBI to bring Johnnie Bryant home as Captain Paul’s scored four runs in the last inning to tie JCDA Consulting 8-8. For JCDA Consulting, Miles Kron pitched two scoreless innings. Hari Narayanam led the JCDA team with four hits, while three other players – Jordan Matthews, Carson Skove, and Liam Keane – each had three hits for JCDA.

Friday, May 6 – Rider TKE vs. Lawrence FOP

Rider TKE starting pitcher Ameer Hasan pitched three shutout innings while also going 3-for-3 at the plate as Rider topped Lawrence FOP in a close 3-0 matchup. Tremendous defensive plays in the field were made by Connor Monaghan and Pate Jessop. The Rider offense finally put a few hits together in the fourth and fifth innings lead by Matt Laws and Will Kocsis.

For Lawrence FOP, starting pitcher Max Crouthamel allowed only one run in three innings while closer Joseph Laitusis allowed only two additional runs in this very well played five-inning ballgame. The FOP offense was lead by Garrett Maloney with a single and a double.

American Division

Saturday, May 14 – First Choice Bank vs. Lawrence PBA

The Lawrence PBA team defeated First Choice Bank by a score of 10-9.

Chris Nevius, Colin D’Angelo and Will Vamos shared pitching duties for Lawrence PBA, with Vamos recording nine strikeouts in his three innings of work. D’Angelo went 3-for-4, with two RBIs and four runs scored; Ryan Cimmino, Steven Kenah, and Chris Nevius had two hits each; and Matt Caccavale had one hit, one RBI and two runs scored.  John “Wheels” Caccavale and Will Vamos each scored one run in this come-from-behind win for Lawrence PBA.

For First Choice Bank, Shea McGuire pitched three strong innings and also had three hits. Aiden Kron and Roshan Aiyar pitched in relief.  Fernando Cooper went 4-for-4; Alex Tucker had two hits, including a triple and two RBIs; and Tom Comisky, Aiden Kron, and Shaun Johnson each had one hit.

Friday, May 13 – Terhune Orchards vs. Lawrence PBA

With a final score of 10-9, Lawrence PBA topped Terhune Orchards.

Lawrence PBA fell behind 7-0, but came back with eight unanswered runs. Terhune scored two in the top of the fifth inning, taking back the lead.  With one runner on, two outs and two strikes, Lawrence PBA’s Eddie Williams launched a towering fly to right that fell in for a triple driving in the tying run and then scoring the winning run on an overthrow. Williams had two hits and three RBIs on the night; Mathew Roman had two hits; and Colin D’Angelo, Justin Franc, Matt Caccavale, and Will Vamos each had one hit. Williams, Vamos, D’Angelo, and Chris Nevius shared the pitching duties for Lawrence PBA.

Sam Koevenig pitched two strong innings, striking out four batters for Terhune Orchards. Jeff Tamasi followed with 1⅔ innings in relief. Oliver Kron had two hits and two RBIs; Thomas Monacchio had two hits and three RBIs; Cole Havard drove in two runs; and Jason Nalbone drew two walks and scored two runs for the Terhune Orchards team.

National Division

Friday, May 6 – Lawrenceville Fuel vs. Ace Topsoil

Lawrenceville Fuel topped Ace Topsoil 8-1.

Evan Cibelli recorded 14 strikeouts in five innings of work and also had one hit, one RBI and scored a run for Lawrenceville Fuel. Bryce Cawley had two hits and two RBIs and Quincy Washington added one hit and one RBI. Thomas Monsport and Jack Stinson each drew key walks and came around to score.

Dylan Weisinger, Tyler Hughes, Andon Parascando and Stephen Kop each had one hit for Ace Topsoil. Hughes and Kop each made outstanding defensive plays and Kop scored the lone run for Ace.

Girls Softball – Majors Division

Tuesday, May 10 – First Choice Bank vs. Rita’s Water Ice

First Choice Bank slipped by Rita's Water Ice 13-12 by scoring a run in their final turn at bat. Katie Smith plated Josie Crafford with a single in the bottom of the sixth inning to seal the win. Smith finished the evening with two hits and three runs scored. Eva Frank and Veda Wendall also had hits for First Choice. Tierra Jones had a hit and a run scored while Hannah McGann scored two runs for Rita's.

Monday, May 9 –First Choice Bank vs. West End

Hayley Davis had two hits and scored two runs for First Choice Bank in an 18-8 loss to West End. Melissa Rothenberg, Adia Weaver, Veda Wendall, Hannah White, Katie Smith, Paige MacArthur, Josie Crafford and Carly Bethea also had hits for First Choice. Jada Derry and Jada White walked and scored twice for West End.
