Lawrence Public Schools Switches To Trimester Schedule

This will help teachers develop a better understanding of each student's developmental and academic ability.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Lawrence Public Schools has decided to implement a trimester schedule, instead of the traditional four marking periods, the district announced.

This new schedule will be implemented for grades Pre-K to 6. The district said the new format will allow teachers to develop more in-depth knowledge about developmental and academic ability of each student, before distributing the report card.

The report cards will be distributed within 10 days after the trimester sends.
