Lawrence Schools Accepting Preschool Applications

Programs for special needs students age 3 and 4 are at the Ben Franklin and Lawrenceville elementary schools.

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ - The Lawrence Township Public School District is currently accepting applications for the 2019-20 preschool programs for 3- and 4-year-olds at Ben Franklin and Lawrenceville elementary schools, the district announced on Friday. These are comprehensive programs that service typically developing 3-and 4-year olds and children with special needs.

The Ben Franklin program will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Lawrenceville Elementary School program will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., Monday through Friday. Bus transportation will not be provided. Students must be Lawrence Township resident and toilet trained, and can be no older than 5 on or before Oct. 1, 2019.

Preschool applications are available at the Board of Education office (2565 Princeton Pike), Ben Franklin Elementary School main office (2939 Princeton Pike), Lawrenceville Elementary School main office (40 Craven Lane), or online at LTPS Preschool Low Income Lottery Programs 2019-2020.

Completed applications can be returned to Jennifer Debiec, Supervisor, Department of Student Services, 2565 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648, no later than Feb. 25, 2019. For more information, contact the Department of Student Services at 609-671-5430.
