Lawrence Schools To Hold Lotteries For Preschool Programs

The Lawrence Township Public School District will hold a pair of upcoming lotteries for its 2020-21 preschool programs.

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Lawrence Township Public School District will hold a pair of upcoming lotteries for its 2020-21 preschool programs. They are comprehensive programs that service typically developing children who are 3 and 4 years old with special needs, according to the district.

They will take place at Ben Franklin, Eldridge Park and Lawrenceville elementary schools. There will be no transportation provided through the district.

The Ben Franklin program will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 3:20 p.m., Monday through Friday, the Eldridge Park program will meet from 7:45 a.m. — 1:45 p.m., and the Lawrenceville Elementary program will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Children can be no older than 5 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2020, must be Lawrence Township residents and must be toilet-trained.

Pre-school applications are available at the Board of Education office (2565 Princeton Pike), Ben Franklin Elementary School main office (2939 Princeton Pike), Lawrenceville Elementary School main office (40 Craven Lane), Eldridge Park Elementary School (55 Lawn Park Ave.), or online at LTPS Preschool Tuition Lottery Programs 2020-2021 or LTPS Preschool Low Income Lottery Programs 2020-2021.

Completed applications must be returned to Jennifer Debiec, Supervisor, Department of Student Services, 2565 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648, no later than Feb. 25, 2020.
