Lawrence Township National Night Out 2018: What You Need To Know

LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ — Lawrence Township's National Night Out event is set for Tuesday, Aug. 7, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Lawrence Township Municipal Grounds.

National Night Out is an initiative in which people in towns across the country gather at their homes, on their streets, and at their local community centers in recognition of their support of the community. It helps strengthen the partnership between the community and police.

Lawrence Township police officers will hold a cookout, and area non-profits will provide valuable resources. Lawrence Township's own Tony Stacey the Papa Delux Band will perform. There will also be activities for children.
