Lawrence Township Resident To Appear On Jeopardy! Friday

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Lawrence Township has a reason to tune in to television this Friday.

Jamie Ding, a Lawrenceville resident, will appear as a contestant on the long-running quiz show Jeopardy! on Friday.

Ding works as a policy and programs analyst at the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency and is currently pursuing a law degree, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Ding is listed on the show's official contestant page as a "bureaucrat & law student" from Lawrenceville.

Jeopardy!, now in its 42nd season and hosted by Ken Jennings, is widely regarded as one of the most challenging game shows on American television.

Contestants must not only know answers across a broad range of categories — they must do so under pressure and against the clock.

Lawrence Township officials are encouraging residents to watch and show their support for Ding.

"Lawrence Township is cheering on resident Jamie Ding," township officials said in a statement. "We're wishing Jamie the very best of luck and know the community will be rooting him on."
