Lawrenceville Main Street to Host NJ350 Pop-up Store
As a part of New Jersey's 350th anniversary celebration (NJ350), Lawrenceville Main Street (LMS) will host a “pop-up store”for the State.
“Pop-up stores,” a unique, new statewide program of temporary stores, will travel 1,000 miles this year to 13 selected Main Street communities and three stops in Trenton for a total of 16 stores. More than 350 independent businesses will participate. The stores will sell Jerseyana(items made in NJ or about NJ), NJ350-branded merchandise (hats, shirts, etc.),and unique offerings from local businesses. The Lawrenceville store will feature items from The Lawrence Historical Society, The Lawrence-Hopewell Trail, Lawrence Township, and The Shop by Christina Peckham, among others. LMS will offer branded travel wine mugs, reusable wine totes, and picnic blankets, which will be perfect for the Music in the Park concerts this summer. Some local businesses, including The Purple Cow and Melz Salon, will offer discounts.
