Lawrenceville Man Named Vice President Of Applebee's Franchisee

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - A Lawrenceville man has been promoted to the position of vice president of operations for a leading Applebee’s franchisee. Tom Lowe has been promoted to the position of vice president for The Rose Group, the company announced.

Lowe began his restaurant career as a general manager of Charley’s Brother restaurant in Hopewell, before becoming an area manager with Boston Market. He then became an owner of Cambers Café in Princeton from 1998 to 2003.

He joined The Rose Group as a manager and then a general manager in 2003. He was quickly promoted to area director in 2005 overseeing stores in the Philadelphia market and was promoted to regional director of operations with responsibilities overseeing Applebee’s unit operations in 2014.

As vice president of operations, Lowe is responsible for the overall direction of store operations for 54 Applebee’s restaurants employing over 3,600 associates. Specifically, he will guide the management teams in building sales, ensuring a top-level guest experience and overseeing finance using his vast experience as his guide.

Lowe lives in Lawrenceville with is wife. He enjoys golf, gourmet cooking and physical fitness.
