Lawrenceville Resident Nominated to State Council on Disabilities

Robert J. Fesel was nominated on Monday.

A Lawrenceville man has been nominated for appointment to the State Council on Developmental Disabilities, Gov. Chris Christie said on Monday.

Robert J. Fesel has been nominated for appointment as a Public Member on the council, which was established in 1971 to “ensure that people with developmental disabilities and their families become empowered advocates and participate in the design of services and support,” according to the state’s website.

Fesel received the Colleen Frasier Self Advocate Award from the council in 2012.
