Lawrenceville School Tops New List Of State's Best Schools
Niche.com ranks the school at the top of the list of the state's top 200 schools, both private and public and including elementary schools.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - The Lawrenceville School is the top school in New Jersey, according to a new list by Niche.com.
The Lawrenceville School is ranked No. 1 on Niche.com’s list of Best Schools for 2019. This year’s list expanded to include both private and public schools. It includes elementary, middle and high schools all in the same list.
It earned an overall grade of A+. That includes an A+ for academics, teachers, college prep and clubs and activities. It also earned an A for diversity and an A- in sports.

“The Lawrenceville School is a top rated, private, boarding school located in Lawrenceville, NJ,” Niche.com said about the school. “It has 822 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 7 to 1. Tuition is $62,190 for the highest grade offered. After graduation, 100% of students from this school go on to attend a 4-year college.”
In this list, Niche prefers private schools. The first four out of five spots are all reserved for private schools. Niche's methodology is based on an analysis of academic and student-life data from the US Department of Education along with test scores, and feedback from Niche.com users.
