Lawrenceville Schools To Give Free Meals To All Students
Students who are currently paying for their meals can now request free breakfast and lunch, said the school district.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – Lawrence Public Schools reminded parents and guardians on Thursday that all children were eligible for free meals.
The United States Department of Agriculture issued a waiver recently stating that all registered students, regardless of lunch status are eligible to receive free meals.
Students who are currently paying for their meals can now request free breakfast and lunch, said the school district.

Under the USDA program, families can pick up free food from their local school district. The USDA extended the program until Dec. 31, past its normal end date due to the coronavirus.
No application is needed. Meals must be requested via email to lunch@ltps.org and/or breakfast@ltps.org.
