Lawrenceville Teacher Molested Students While They Slept: PO

Dominic Brown, 23, has been charged with criminal sexual contact after touching two boys who were asleep in their dorm rooms.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — A teacher at The Lawrenceville School has been arrested and charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact against two students at the school, the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office announced on Monday.

Dominic F. Brown, 23, inappropriately touched two teenage boys while they were asleep in their dorm rooms early Saturday morning, according to the prosecutor’s office. He had entered their rooms without their knowledge, authorities said.

The two boys then contacted campus police. Lawrence Township police and the prosecutor’s office were then notified, according to authorities.

Brown is a second-year fellow who taught history and coached water polo. He has been charged with two counts of third-degree aggravated criminal sexual contact and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held in the Mercer County Correction Center pending a detention hearing.

Lawrenceville School officials had no comment Monday afternoon.
