LAWWRENCE ORGANIC CURBSIDE FOOD WASTE RECYCING PROGRAM

This new recycling program that the Lawrence Township is embarking on will allow residents  another way to get all the organic materials like: meat, poultry, seafood, bones, paper plates, yard trimmings, bread, pizza boxes, ect. out of the regular garbage collection. We need 300 people to volunteer to participate in this program before collection begins.  Its cost is $17.00 monthly and includes a 32-gallon recycle cart. Central Jersey Waste will bill the participants quarterly.  You can register by sending an email to: jbrokofsky@lawrencetwp.com.

Gregory Whitehead, CPWM, Director of Public Works,  Township of Lawrence, has an exiting news to tell us on Wednesday, Martch 26th together with Pamela  Frank, Food Waste Committee Chair, will explain how important is this new program.  Join us and start making a better place for our children, grand-children and for generations to come.
