
With warm weather finally arriving in Central Jersey, the Lawrence High School boys golf team had a spring awakening on Tuesday.
LHS picked up their first win of the season beating Hightstown by a score of 255-263.
Cory Zrinko had the low score for LHS with a 43, followed closely by Anthony Scardelletti with a 44 and Stephen Kim with a 48. Those three Cardinals notched the best scores of the match.

Emmanuel Herrera also shot a 59 and Lenny Jones shot 61 for LHS.
The Cardinals improved their record to 1-2, while Hightstown fell to 2-2.

The Cards fell to 1-3 on Wednesday with a 220-241 loss to Steinert. Scardelletti (40), Kim (48) and Zrinko (48) were the top performers for LHS.
Lawrence was back in action against Nottingham and Robbinsville on Thursday.
