Man Arrested, $5K In LSD Seized In Mercer County: Prosecutor
Kyle Shaw was arrested following a month-long investigation.

A Hamilton Township man has been arrested and $5,000 in LSD was seized following a month-long investigation by the Mercer County Task Force, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said on Thursday. Kyle Shaw, 29, is charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with the intent to distribute and possession of LSD in a quantity of 100 milligrams or more.
Detectives learned that Shaw would be attempting to sell a large quantity of LSD in the South Broad Street area of Hamilton, according to authorities. Officers spotted Shaw in the area on Monday, Nov. 6, at about 6 p.m. He was subsequently arrested. During the execution of a search warrant, detectives said they found two sheets of paper soaked in LSD worth about $5,000.
The arrest and search were handled by officers with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, and the Hamilton and Trenton police, under the command of the prosecutor’s Special Investigations Unit.
