Man Charged In Mercer County Wawa Shooting: Police
The Trenton resident was apprehended in Henry County, Georgia, police said.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 23-year-old Trenton resident was charged in connection with the Wawa shooting that occurred earlier this month, Ewing Police said.
Zaccardi Mulkey was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses. Authorities apprehended Mulkey in Henry County, Georgia where he was in custody awaiting extradition to NJ to face the charges, police said.
On Jan. 15 at 3:26 a.m., police responded to the Wawa at 1300 Silvia Street on reports of a shooting.

According to investigation, an argument ensued between three to four Wawa patrons who had arrived separately. One of the patrons left the store and when he reentered, another man fired a weapon, police said. The man who reentered the store then returned fire, authorities said.
