Man Charged With Murder For Daytime Fatal Shooting In Mercer Co.
Mack Williams, 32, was charged with murder and weapons offenses, Mercer County Prosecutor said. Daquan Brown was fatally shot on Oct. 9.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Trenton man has been charged with murder after the daytime shooting of Daquan Brown earlier this month, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said Tuesday.
Mack Williams, 32, was charged with murder and weapons offenses. He was taken into custody on Monday in Trenton by the U.S. Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force with assistance from the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, Onofri said.
Around 3:10 p.m. on Oct. 9, Trenton police responded to a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds in the first block of Ewing Street. Officers arrived on the scene to find Brown,33, lying on the ground at Kersey Alley suffering a gunshot wound to the shoulder area, Onofri said. The prosecutor’s office has filed a motion to detain Williams pending trial.
