Man Killed In Double Shooting At Mercer County Gas Station: Prosecutor

Jaquir Queen of Willingboro and a Hamilton man were shot at Fast Trac gas station in Trenton Wednesday night. Queen died of his injuries.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Willingboro man was fatally shot and another injured in a double shooting that happened overnight in Trenton, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.

Just before midnight on Wednesday, Trenton police responded to a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds fired at the Fast Trac gas station on Mulberry Street.

On arrival, officers found Jaquir Queen, 26, of Willingboro on the side of the gas station suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later, Onofri said.

Officers also learned there was a second victim, when a 23-year-old man from Hamilton, arrived at the hospital via private vehicle with a gunshot wound to his calf.

No arrests have been made. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are currently investigating the shooting.
