Man Shot In Chest Inside Car In Mercer County: Prosecutor

Keenan Anthony Trower of Hamilton was found unresponsive in the driver's seat of a Cadillac on Tuesday, authorities said.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ – A 31-year-old Hamilton Township man was found shot inside his car in Trenton on Tuesday night, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.

Around 7:50 p.m. on Tuesday, Trenton police responded to a Shot Spotter activation for multiple rounds in the area of Howard and Hancock streets.

On arrival, officers found Keenan Anthony Trower, 31, unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a maroon Cadillac sedan suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, according to Onofri.

Trower was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later, Onofri said.

No arrests have been made. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting.
