Man Shot Multiple Times Inside Parked Car In Mercer Co.: Prosecutor
The 23-year-old Trenton resident was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said. Investigation is on.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ - A 23-year-old man was shot multiple inside a parked car in Trenton on Sunday evening, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported Monday.
Around 6:56 p.m. on Sunday, Trenton police responded to a ShotSpotter notification reporting multiple shots fired in the area of Lamberton and Federal streets. On arrival, officers found Jhosse Tolentino, 23, in the driver’s seat of his parked gray 2010 Infiniti G37, with multiple gunshot wounds, Onofri said. The vehicle was also struck multiple times, authorities said.
Tolentino was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, Onofri said.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting. No arrests have been made.
