Men Arrested in Mercer County With $56,000 in Heroin: Prosecutor
The men were arrested following a 2-week investigation.

Two brothers were arrested and $56,000 in raw heroin was seized on Tuesday morning, bringing to an end a two-week investigation, Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
Ismail Rodriguez-Nunez, 29, and Hector Rivera-Nunez, 21, both from Bronx, NY, are charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with the intent to distribute.
Rodriguez-Nunez was the target of the investigation, and was seen leaving a restaurant on Ashmore Avenue in Trenton with his brother at about 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26.

Rivera-Nunez was observed carrying a red plastic bag, authorities said.
Both men were arrested without incident. Authorities obtained search warrants for the bag and the Toyota Highlander the men were driving.

Police allege the bag contained 400 grams of raw heroin, worth about $56,000.
Bail was set for each at $100,000 cash or bond.
