Mercer County Man Fatally Shot Tuesday Evening: Prosecutor

No arrests have been made. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A 46-year-old Trenton man was fatally shot on Tuesday evening, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.

At approximately 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, Trenton police responded to the first block of Camden Street where officers found Albert L. Barnes lying on the sidewalk suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, Onofri said. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating the shooting, Onofri said.
