Mercer County Man Indicted for Murder
Grady A. Blue III was indicted in the shooting death of Naquan Ellis in June.

A Trenton man has been indicted in the shooting death of 23-year-old Naquan Ellis, Mercer County Prosecutor Joseph L. Bocchini Jr. announced on Tuesday.
Grady A. Blue III, 22, was indicted on one count of murder, one count of first-degree criminal attempt to commit murder, one count of second-degree aggravated assault, one count of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun.
Trenton police responded to the area of Fairway Drive on a report of a shooting in progress on June 24, 2014, around 10:45 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found Ellis in a parking lot area suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Ellis was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A female who had been shot in the leg and hand was also located in the Fairway Drive area and transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center.

An arrest for Blue was issued following an investigation by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force.
He was taken into custody the following evening by members of the U.S. Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Blue is currently incarcerated at the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility on unrelated charges. Bail remains at $1 million on the homicide.
