Mercer County Man Indicted For Murder In Fatal Shooting
Leroy Tutt was indicted on four counts in a fatal shooting that took place last summer.

A Mercer County man has been indicted in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Trenton over the summer, authorities said.
Leroy Tutt, of Trenton, was indicted on charges of first-degree murder, second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon and second-degree certain persons not to have weapons, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said.
Trenton police discovered 19-year-old Nabate Washington lying on the street between two cars while responding to reports of shots fired on Sandford Street at about 1:45 p.m. on June 30, police said. Washington had been shot several times. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Tutt was arrested on Aug. 5 following an investigation by the Mercer County Homicide Task Force. First Assistant Prosecutor Doris M. Galuchie presented the case to the grand jury.
